In 1961, Syria left the United Arab Republic, making the anthem restored. During the Syrian Civil War that started in 2011, both sides of the conflict using different national flags. Kurdistan uses a different anthem as well. In 2024, Syrian opposition took over the country. But it take days to announce that this anthem will be kept or not.
