Translated as "Guardians of the Homeland" in romanised Arabic (Just to improve the title). This anthem was adopted in 1938 while it was in the French rule. It was used to gain independence but it failed. However, it kept the anthem instead. In 1958, the United Arab Republic was formed. Syria was part of it. That means this anthem was replaced. In 1961, Syria left the United Arab Republic, making the anthem restored. During the Syrian Civil War that started in 2011, both sides of the conflict using different national flags. Kurdistan uses a different anthem as well. In 2024, Syrian opposition took over the country. But it take days to announce that this anthem will be kept or not. But they accept it and the anthem was kept. An de jure National anthem of Syria.
